McDonald’s Restaurant-Scott Rd., Surrey, B.C.

McDonald’s Restaurants always require a durable surface for their interior walls. To update their old typical McDonald’s look of laminate installed to a chair rail height, laminate panels were used to sheath the entire height of the walls in the high traffic areas. The look is more contemporary and playful.

Fireplaces are used in most McDonald’s new projects to help give a more inviting atmosphere and lure people to come inside rather than use the drive thru. A washer and bolt detail is not only decorative but helps to tie into the industrial feeling of the space.
