McDonald’s Restaurant-Squamish, B.C.

This was a renovation project with an existing fireplace. It was partly resurfaced to make use of the beautiful stone work which went well with the west coast ski lodge look that is representative of the community.

Large slate tiles and faux wood beams made with plastic laminate carry the lodge look through the restaurant but in keeping with the need for durable materials and budget limitations.

A pebble mosaic detail on the eating bar continues the use of various stone throughout the interior design.
