McDonald’s Restaurant-Langford, B.C.

This project’s design ties in the apparent nature in the local community with the industrial qualities of the architecture of some surrounding buildings in this development.

Metal galvalume and metal brackets typically used for exterior architectural detailing are used in the interior to harmonize with the industrial feel of the exterior architecture.

Custom glass and metal divides the eating bar area from the regular seating area of the restaurant enclosing an area for single diners.

A custom metal sculpture was designed with the same fish motif used in the service counter area for this alcove seating and a mural of a stream with fish ties the theme of the local surroundings through out the restaurant.
